Awareness and Self-Use of Metronidazole for Diarrhea and Abdominal Pain Among Residents of Dongola City, Sudan
The Impact of Quality Improvement Initiatives on Outcomes of Preterm Neonates
Physical therapy primarily aims to
relieve pain in cases where the cause of the pain is treatable, such as muscle
spasms, muscle tears, ligament injuries, nerve fatigue, and joint diseases, and
it also helps prevent the recurrence of pain after treatment. This study
focused on identifying the reasons for not using some of the devices available
in the center despite their importance, and clarifying the correct usage by
doctors and specialized technicians for the available devices to provide more
effective care and awareness of the importance of physical therapy devices.
This was done by conducting interviews with staff in the therapy halls and the
doctors responsible for diagnosing the cases visiting the center. A five-point
Likert-type questionnaire was distributed to the staff and doctors working in
the therapy halls, and the obtained results were analyzed and discussed. The
study also covers the theoretical aspect of the concept of electromagnetic
waves, their therapeutic importance, how to protect ourselves from them, the
composition, working principles, and uses of the three devices under study used
in the Derna Physical Therapy Center, and a comparison with the results of the
interviews and questionnaire.
